The Mijas Costa area of the Costa del Sol in southern Spain about 10 minutes drive from Marbella and covers the coastline from Marbella to Fuengirola. with lose to a excellent bright sandy beaches, and great views over the Mediterranean. Mijas Costa is split into several resorts, mainly Calahonda, Riviera del Sol, Torrenueva and La Cala de Mijas.

Calahonda and Riviera are lively areas with a great selection of bars, restaurants and enterntainment. Our apartments in Mijas Costa are positioned so that you can enjoy the night life or simply relax by the pool and take it easy. There is a tourist train that goes from the supermarkets up through Calahonda every hour in the summer so you can go to the shops or beach with ease and take in the lovely views across the area. There is something for everybody in Mijas Costa and especially good for family holidays. There is entertainment in most of the bars in the area and you can chose to dine in a different restaurant every night should you wish. We lived in Mijas Costa for many years, so we can personally recommend this area first hand.

If you are on a self catering holiday in Mijas Costa there are some really good supermarkets where you can stock up on all your favourites. They stock most English foods and indeed they cater for most international tastes. Prices are also very good. You will find the biggest supermarkets at either end of Avenida de España which runs from one end of Calahonda to the other in a large horseshoe ring road. There are no hotels in this area, all accommodation is self catering in Calahonda and the apartments we have on offer are the best quality available in the area. There is every facility imaginable to make you feel at home, catholic and non denominational churches, banks, chemists, pie shop!! Even a doctors should you need it. You can rent a car or a bike or a moped or a quad bike which are simply great to see the local area.
