Calahonda is situated in the Mijas Costa area of Spain about 10 minutes drive from Marbella and close to a bright sandy beach. There are five complexes within the Crown Resorts group that we offer, all grouped in the same area of Calahonda not far from the beach. Oceano Beach Club is rght on the beach with great views over the Mediterranean.

Calahonda is lively with a great selection of bars, restaurants and enterntainment. Our apartments in Calahonda are positioned so that you can enjoy the night life or simply relax by the pool and take it easy. There is a tourist train that goes from the supermarkets up through Calahonda every hour in the summer so you can go to the shops or beach with ease and take in the lovely views across the area. There is something for everybody in Calahonda and especially good for family holidays. There is entertainment in most of the bars in the area and you can chose to dine in a different restaurant every night should you wish. We lived in Calahonda for many years, so we can personally recommend this area first hand.

Club Calahonda is ideal for adults and children alike. There is a children's play area, daily entertainments and children's activities. The on-site bar and restaurant is perfect for family meals and has regular evening entertainment.

If you are on a self catering holiday in Calahonda there are some really good supermarkets where you can stock up on all your favourites. They stock most English foods and indeed they cater for most international tastes. Prices are also very good. You will find the biggest supermarkets at either end of Avenida de España which runs from one end of Calahonda to the other in as large arch. a bit like a ring road with access to all the property. There are no hotels in this area, all accommodation is self catering in Calahonda and the apartments at Crown Resorts are the best available. There is every facility imaginable to make you feel at home, catholic and non denominational churches, banks, chemists, pie shop !! even a doctors should you need it. You can rent a car or a bike or a moped or one of those four wheeled gizmos (quad bike) which are simply great to see the local area. Crown resorts is really a super place for a self catering holiday in Calahonda with everything you need at your fingertips.
