Sitting on the top of a small hill at the end of the small Spanish hamlet of La Higuera, the house has spectacular views across the El Torcal region. The gardens are private, set amongst the olive groves. There is a built-in barbecue and swimming pool. As with all Hotel La Posada del Torcal country retreats, staff at the nearby hotel are on hand to help you plan your holiday. We can supply daily maid service and baby sitters on request. Tennis, horse riding, mountain bike, walks and maps of the area, hot air balloon trips are all bookable through La Posada del Torcal.

Casa Francesca is just a 20 minute drive from Antequera, one of Andalucia's prettiest towns. Antequera dates back to Moorish times, the castle ruins provide a dramatic backdrop to the town below. Apart from the many historic monuments to visit, Antequera has great shops, especially leather goods and ceramics. Also nearby are the spectacular El Chorro lakes and gorges, a great place for a day out, picnicking and swimming in the turquoise clear waters. Nearest shops to Casa Francesca are just a 1o minute drive away in the "white village" of La Joya. Amenities here include grocers, bakery, chemist and the all important tapas bar!
